Atlanta Roofer Recommends Annual Roof Inspection

There are many reasons why you should have your roof inspected in the Atlanta Metro area on an annual basis, but one of the most obvious reason is that every year we deal with some harsh weather. From hail storms, to pounding rain, to ferocious winds these elements can leave your roof tattered and torn. In addition, it is nice that legitimate roofing companies in atlanta offer free same day inspections for roofs of homeowners and business owenrs in this area. Sawtooth Construction are licensed and Insured and professionals when it comes to working with Insurance companies and ensuring that the money you invest in them comes back to you when you need things like a new roof. Please feel free to call us today and let us come out, inspect your roof, and if necessary repair it or replace it working with your homeowners insurance company....

  3. Agree! Inspection lets you evaluate your roof’s status and helps you take necessary precautions or repairs, whenever possible, to ensure that your first line of defense against the harsh weather stays strong and dependable.

  4. Would you suggest doing this roofing during winter or summer, or would semi annually be better? I'm just curious, because I used to live in Vancouver before moving down. The snow would ruin the roof sometimes.

  5. I really need my roof done again. It has been around 12 years I want to say. It doesn't look too bad either, I really got lucky! But I was wondering if you knew of any great places for roofing in Calgary? Please let me know if you do. Thanks!

  13. Thanks for the post, and I've been looking at different roofing in Barrie, and I was wondering how often you should get a roofing inspection? Because some people say once a year, and others say once ever two years.

  14. This is a good idea. This would be a good idea for roofing in Vancouver too. It sure doesn't hurt.

  15. Great post, and my wife and I have always gotten our roof annual inspection and everything looked great with the roofing and everything. But we seemed to notice that the roofing contractor/inspector was the one that we had to watch out for. Because now we do a lot more research when we look for a roofing contractor.

  19. I didn't know you should have a annual roof inspection. I guess that is a good idea. I need to find a campany that does roofing in Victoria. I have a pretty old roof and it should probably undergo and inspection to see if it needs some maintenance.

  20. You guys recommend yearly inspection but according to me the inspection should be around each month end. It does not take much time but gives lots of benefits like say a tiny leak can be covered easily but when it becomes a crack then it is not easy to fix that crack without spending lots of money. 24. It seems like a lot of people have questions about roofing repair. It really comes down to the kind of roof you are dealing with. I for one have ceramic roofing, my neighbors are incredibly wealthy and own a roof that harnesses the power of the sun.

  25. Thanks so much for this post. It was well written and very easy to understand. My house has a slate roof syracuse, ny and I completely love it! I love that it gives the house a classy and fairy tale like feel. We've been very careful about the upkeep on our house, our roof included, and I'm happy to say that it's been a good roof to us for the past ten years that we've lived there.

  26. Do you know if there are any companies that do this annual roof inspection for free? My husband just barely purchased our new home, but we aren't sure the roof is entirely holding up as it should be. The house is about 16 years old, so it's about time it has a checkup, but we just don't know which company to get it through. We'll see what we can find online and maybe call a few places to see what we can find.

    1. Alexi, there are a ton of companies out there that can help with something like this. You want to find a good company that you can rely on. Ask your friends and family for referrals and that should help. Just make sure you get that inspection done before the roof comes down on you. http://tallguyroofing.com/

  29. I've been wondering for a really long time about how often I should get my roof inspected and I finally found a logical answer! Of course, I don't like in Atlanta, so the weather is a little different. Should I still get my roof checked every year anyways? It seems like it would be cheaper to do that than to find out there's a problem later on!

  30. Our house would not survive without it's annual roofing inspection. We have storms so often that completely do a number on our home every time they blow through. Checking out the roof, and doing small repairs every year is so much easier and cheaper than waiting for it to completely fall through, and trying to repair it. http://www.darnellroofing.com/Services

  31. Thanks for sharing this- I had no idea how essential an annual roof inspection really is! I think that I will have a roofing repair business check out my roof since I don't have any annual inspections. Thanks again!

  33. An annual inspection is really very important. You make some great points. I recommend that people get the inspection done during late summer or early fall. This will give you enough time to make any necessary repairs before inclement weather comes.

  35. Getting inspections is the best way to keep on top of potential problems. We were able to nip some problems in the bud before they got worse. My husband thought I was being paranoid, but we agreed it was worth it.

  36. This is becoming increasingly popular around the country. I've heard so many people suggesting regular roofing inspections. It makes sense. I guess it supports the old adage: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

  37. I just bought a house that was live in previously. I am going to need to do some repairs throughout the house starting with the roof. I am sure if the previous owners got annual inspections then I would not be having to repair it as much. After I get the roof repaired I am definitely going to stay on top of the annual inspections. http://www.bestfutureroof.com

  38. I have lived in Georgia for most my life. After I moved how the harsh Georgia weather really is! There is nothing that compares to that Georgia rain. I though I would have to replace shingles every year, no matter where I lived, but no. That is a Georgia thing.

  41. I never used to check my roof, especially not annually, until it started leaking a few months ago. Then I realized just how much I was leaving to chance by not being more on top of things. Now I check it regularly, especially the gutters. | http://www.tvroofing.ca

  42. I agree that everyone should get an annual roof inspection because roofs can get damaged easily. Maybe if I got my roof inspected once a year, I wouldn't be in this situation. I need to get a section of my roof repaired because it has a very high probability of failure and will cause huge leaks. I am just glad that we were able to catch it before anything bad could happen.
